Reading comprehension of literary texts using a multimodal language–image approach

چکیده

The importance of multimodal reading comprehension from multiple perspectives is particularly reflected in the theoretical work that has been published recent times. Expanding students use to make sense these texts an important part instruction. study focuses on textual linking language and image with aim promoting productive receptive images, assigning a relevant meaning literary context use, complementing text visual message, integrating contextualised images including them process overall comprehension. project presented here form experience report shows results provides suggestions for procedural application text–image approach text. It based F. C. Delius' novel Walk Rostock Syracuse. This lends itself being explored way, as it pre-supposes implicit knowledge includes certain historical cultural contextual references.
